Hello
My name is Jake Jennings and I am a freelance marching arts designer located in the midwest. I have been designing for the marching arts since 2022. I specialize in graphics, show design, and choreography. I have designed, choreographed, and consulted for many programs around the midwest including Saydel HS, Des Moines Roosevelt HS, Ankeny HS, Johnston HS, ADM HS, and the Colt Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.
My Story
I have been involved in the performing arts for most of my life. I began my color guard career as a member of the Saydel High School Color Guard in Des Moines, Iowa, from 2017-2021. As a sophomore in high school, I decided to take my love for marching to the next level by becoming a member of the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps Color Guard (DCI). I've spent six summers performing with the drum corps (2020-2025). I have also spent four seasons (2020-2022, 2024) with the Crossroads Guard (WGI) from Des Moines, Iowa and most recently spent the 2025 winter season with Independent World Class Finalist, Juxtaposition.
